The luxurious, 28-seater single level cruise boat offers a unique and intimate way to view the Zambezi River. The boat is the first of its kind, custom built to maximize comfort, style, practicality and service. (By manufacturing standards, the boat is actually built to accommodate 60 passengers, but in order to cater for the luxury furnishings, and to allow for ample spaciousness, the design has been customized to accommodate just 28). Lunch Cruise

Pickup time is from 12:00pm. Indulge in a light lunch and refreshments on board, while admiring the bold displays of an untouched natural landscape. The lunch cruise includes beers, soft drinks, local spirits, wine and water as well as a finger lunch. The boat is on the river for about 2 hours, and the turnaround time is approximately 2.5 hours.

Sunset Cruise

Pickup time is from 3:30pm in the summer or 4:00pm in the winter. During the premium two hour guided Sunset cruise guests can look forward to 5-star service on board, consisting of imported wines and spirits, gourmet hot & cold canapés. The boat is on the river for about 2 hours, and the turnaround time is approximately 2.5 hours.

• Wear comfortable clothing and sunglasses.
• In summer, light clothes as it can get hot. In winter, bring warm sweater or jacket for the sunset cruise as it can get chilly in the evening.

• Anything else that you will not need while on your cruise.

Canapés on the Zambezi Royal cruise

Children

Children are welcome on the Malachite. Those younger than 3 years old do not pay. Children 3 to 11 years pay 50% of the adult rate. Children 6 to 12 years pay US$5 for the river usage fee. Children younger than 6 do not pay the fee.
