Planning to travel to Zim soon and wondering if using my Wise (former travelwise) card for purchases and getting cash from the ATM would be possible in Harare. Thanks
I am not familiar with the Wise card but if it is a Visa or Mastercard, then yes you can pay for things and withdraw cash. Just be wary of paying for anything that is quoted in Zimbabwe dollars with a foreign card as you will get charged the official bank exchange rate which is half what the actual rate is, that is used for pricing.

Just used Revolut, Wise and Monzo -> all failed by: Dimitri from London
Tried to use Stanbic bank to withdraw USD. $5fee by stanbic for withdrawal + $150 limit per withdrawal.
HSBC to the rescue -> yay but will smash me with 2.75pc fee on top for converting GBP into USD on top of shitshow VISA FX rate that is 0.6% out from interbank live FX rate.
