Meet the People Village TourEnter the world of the traditional people of rural Zimbabwe - an experience which gives you a greater understanding of how the local community lives.Monde Village near Victoria Falls
IntroductionA visit to a local Zimbabwean village is an eye-opening experience and interactive tour, giving insight into the old ways of the Zimbabwean people, essentially taking you back in time. Most rural Zimbabwean folk are subsistence farmers, so they have little interaction with urban centres apart from if they want to sell surplus produce. Villagers interact more with each other than with the outside world.
The Start of the Cultural Village TourYou are picked up from your hotel/lodge and initially driven about 20 km out of town to the rural village, some of it on tar but the rest on dirt road. It takes about 25 to 30 minutes to get there.
