Victoria Falls HomestayBeautiful and welcoming private homes furnished to cater for your holiday accommodation needsIntroductionVictoria Falls Homestay properties offer guests exclusive accommodation, particularly great for families and travelling groups of up to 10 pax. Most are located in the quiet residential area a few kilometres away from the town centre and the Victoria Falls rainforest. Homestays are a home away from home, fully equipped with everything that you would need to be comfortable while you enjoy your stay in Victoria Falls. The properties typically will have a few bedrooms, with a combination of twin and double bed options. Most have shared bathrooms between two or more rooms, while the main bedrooms will have en-suite bathrooms. The living room offers cosy sofas in front of a flat screen television that has digital satellite (DSTV). Kitchens are fully equipped, and there is plenty of space for big meals around the dinner table. Some homestays will also have outdoor dining areas, plus a garden and swimming pool. All self-catering Victoria Falls homestay properties have a backup generator and inverter power supply, and access to wi-fi. Below are some homestays in Victoria Falls: Acacia HouseAcacia House is located in the low density residential area, about a 7 minute drive to the Victoria Falls Rainforest. It is a beautiful self-catering home overlooking the edge of the national park, great for bird and wildlife lovers. The garden faces the bush, and there is a sparkling swimming pool and outside braai and entertainment area. The house has 4 en-suite bedrooms, all with ceiling fans. The living area has open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. Wireless internet and DSTV are also available. Gibson HouseThis is a homestay house with a difference - there are resident cooks on the property. It is located 3kms from the entrance to the Victoria Falls Rainforest, a mere 7 minutes' drive. The house can accommodate up to 12 people comfortably, in 5 bedrooms, all with air conditioners. Miombo Mews ApartmentsThese Victoria Falls apartments, 26 fully-furnished holiday homes, are conveniently located a mere 3.2 km from Victoria Falls, in the heart of the vibrant town centre. Each apartment offers contemporary and comfortable accommodations complete with two bedrooms (one twin and one double), two bathrooms, a lounge, a kitchen, a dining area, and a private patio overlooking manicured gardens. The apartments have been carefully designed to offer a relaxing retreat for up to 4 guests (with provision for additional children if required) to make for an idyllic holiday option for families, self drive and group travel. Our OpinionThere are not many of these "home stay" houses available in Victoria Falls and they are very popular. The houses in the residential area are ideal for a family or group of friends wanting to stay together in lovely surroundings - with your own garden, pool, lounge, dining, kitchen, barbeque and entertainment area. For a group it works out much cheaper than hotel accommodation. Summary• Family homes both in the suburbs and in the town centre Advantages
