Victoria Falls Bus ServicesA very affordable way to get to Victoria Falls, but requires patience and a bit of time.
Apart from flying to Victoria Falls, taking a train, or driving, there are a few bus companies that service routes from Harare, Bulawayo and beyond. The local coaches are very basic, and do not offer any food, snacks or drinks, but they do stop in some of the major towns for passengers to grab a bite to eat and stretch their legs. The also stop in the major towns and cities, or wherever passengers need to be dropped off in the rural country (sometimes in the middle of nowhere so it would seem). Victoria Falls BusesExtra City offer a daily service between Victoria Falls and Harare. There are at least two semi-luxury coaches that leave on time from the Chinotimba Bus terminus every evening from 9pm to 11pm. From Harare, they have morning coaches at 5am and 6am and evening coaches at 5pm. From Bulawayo to Victoria Falls, there are five buses which leave between 8:30am and 3:30pm. Livingstone BusesIf you're coming from Lusaka, Mazhandu bus company can take you to Livingstone, with nine scheduled trips daily. You can find their contact details on their Facebook page. Pre-booking is essential because their buses fill up early. Shalom Bus company offers the same service.
