Vic Falls Marathon Registration Now Open

15 March 2019 The Victoria Falls Marathon organisers have announced the opening of registration for the 2019 race. The Econet Victoria Falls Marathon will be on 7th of July 2019, and offers the same categories as with previous years. "Online registrations are now open. Enter here. Online pre-registration closes on 14 June, or when capacity is reached, so PLEASE make sure you do not miss out and enter early" - Victoria Falls Marathon The Marathon attracts local, regional and international competitors, running in the 7.5km fun run, 21km half marathon and 42.2kms full marathon. The marathon and half-marathon begin in town near Ilala Lodge very early in the morning. The route take runners to the Victoria Falls Bridge for the most scenic part of the experience, then back through various parts of town and even through wilderness areas - watch out for the wildlife! While registration can be done on the eve of the event, the online registration is highly advised as the spots can fill up quickly. Another advantage of early registration is that participants avoid queuing the day before when they could be enjoying all things Victoria Falls instead.
