The End of the Boiling Pot Hike

9 October 2018 It is with regret that we inform you that the Boiling Pot Hike is being discontinued. The operator has informed us that they will not be taking any new bookings for this activity, but that all bookings currently in place will be honoured. The Boiling Pot Hike was a trek down the gorge just after the Victoria Falls Bridge to the Boiling Pot - the churning waters where the Batoka Gorge begins. It also involved a swim under the Victoria Falls. Read more about it here. An alternative hike, although a different experience is the Gorge Hike and Ndebele Village Tour - a scenic and cultural trip, starting way downstream from the Victoria Falls. It is a longer hike exploring the beautiful pristine scenery downstream, and then into a real Ndebele homestead. Learn the village way of life and traditions. Please not that if you have already booked the Boiling Pot Hike, the operator has assured us that you will go on your trip.
