The Classic River Safari Gets an Uplift and More
The Classic River Safari boat, The Darter, a 16 seater pontoon boat fitted with aqua jets in the engine, has been received a makeover. The seats which were facing the same direction have been changed to face each other to allow for better social interaction: "Four safari benches now face each other, two per table, with an aisle between. The remaining four benches face forward, suitable for FITs and couples," - Megan Conn, Brand Manager, Bushtracks Africa Also revamped are the bathroom and furnishings on the boat, to match the other 16 seater - The Cormorant. The price for the river safari experience has been reduced to US$60 per person, while the premium Victoria River Safari stays at it's current price of US$80 per person. The river cruises on these smaller boats are unique in that they take passengers away from the traffic, through channels of the Zambezi River, reaching an exclusive part of the river.
