There is an article published today in the Chronicle Newspaper in Zimbabwe which states that Zimbabwe National Parks have suspended Bungee jumping at Victoria Falls.
Please note that this article is erroneous as National Parks have issued no such instruction nor do they have jurisdiction over a Zambian based business. We have had no communication with National Parks Zimbabwe on this matter other than to keep them informed through regular statements.
The decision to close Bungee for two days was taken voluntarily by Vic Falls Bungee when the safety auditors arrived in Zimbabwe. This was to allow the auditors, management and crew the opportunity to analyse the causes of the broken cord and review the new system and procedures without distractions. Bungee will commence on Friday 13
or Saturday 14 January. All other activities including Bridge Swing, Bridge Slide, Tours and the restaurant facility are in operation as normal.
Thank you once again for your continued support

Victoria Falls Bungee Update - 17/01/12 by: Vic Falls Bungee
Good day,
Following our announcement of last week that the Bungee Jumping activity would be closed for a few days whilst the safety inspection took place, we wish to further advise that the activity is still closed and is likely to remain closed for the remainder of the week whilst we wait for the various safety reports and tests to be finalised.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused, unfortunately it is due to the availability of the key people involved in the inspection, of which some had prior commitments.
The Bridge Swing, Slide, Bridge Tour, The Visitor Centre and the Cafe` are operating as usual.
We thank you for you continued patience and support. We will update you later in the week.
