River Safari Update
From 1st October 2019 until further notice, The Victoria river safari will not be travelling downstream to the islands above the Victoria Falls. The trips will still run, but because of the low water levels, the premium boat will not go on it's regular route. The Victoria is bigger than the Classic River Safari boats, which will run as normal. The Zambezi River's water levels are unusually low for this time of the year, and until the rainy season begins and the water rises, certain activities will be affected in some way. The water taxis on the Livingstone (Zambian) side of the river have also been stopped for now. The jetboat below the Falls on the Zimbabwe side has gone on an early break until the water levels start to rise again. Please note that these changes are temporary, and services will resume as normal once the water has risen to reasonable levels. Other water activities such as whitewater rafting below the Falls, and Devils Pool, canoeing, fishing and boat cruises above the Victoria Falls are not affected.
