Peak Season Border Delays
15 August 2017 It is peak season - that time of the year when the weather gets warmer, and more people make their way to Victoria Falls for their vacation. The Victoria Falls Airport and Kazungula Border have already started experiencing delays resulting from the increase in traffic. These delays in-turn affect those who make use of scheduled transfers to and from the borders and airport. We advise guests at this time to be more patient in the queues as well as while they wait for fellow passengers in the transfer vehicles. Have your documents and forms ready before you arrive at your port of entry (See links below for relevant visa and entry requirements). We also advise that you stay hydrated as the temperatures will start to rise within the next few months. If you are booking activities for your arrival date, please ensure that you have given yourself enough time to get through immigration and on to the hotel/lodge before the pickup for your first activity. Booking with Victoria Falls Guide means that we can anticipate how much time you will need after your flight as well as between your activities, and we can plan accordingly, or, if need be, reshuffle your itinerary if you are delayed.
