One of the most enjoyable trips that we have ever experienced
by Richard and Cristiane
Hi Boo Thank you also for organising the military putsch in Harare...haha. Can you believe it, our GPS to Ballantynes on the Saturday afternoon took us right into Samora Machel Avenue amongst the mass movement of people making their way to the National Sports Stadium. It was a once in a life time experience to be there and see the pure joy on the faces of the people of all races. There was going to be only one outcome and that was the resignation of Bob. At no stage did we feel threatened. It was a privilege, and humbling, to have experienced the liberation of the Zimbabwean people. I just hope that the expectations of the people are realised over the coming years. The Eastern Highlands leg of the trip was fabulous. We arrived at Aberfoyle in the rain and left Seldom Seen in the rain but in between sunshine and some awesome birding with Morgan and Bulwezi. Without these 2 guides we would never have experienced The Highlands as we did. I endorse your view that travel agents outside Zimbabwe cannot know the country better than yourselves. I am just glad that we came across your agency. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable trip for which I again thank you. Our expectations were exceeded and the timing for our birds spot on. All the best and may your business continue to go from strength to strength. With kind regards Yours sincerely Richard and Christiane PS I did get my book from Ballantynes
