Victoria Falls Zimbabwe is blessed with many artists, few of which we have showcased on our website from time to time. Nicole Sanderson is one of those artists and we hope you enjoy seeing her work and reading about her here. Nicole says: Incorporating birds into my work came later in my career when I began seeing shapes, pattern, colour and movement in feathered flight and I was inspired. I realised how meaningful and symbolic birds are. Since then I have become obsessed with these brilliant, fascinating and fleeting creatures which are shaping my artistic future.
Crowned Cranes. Title: 'Gathering Grace' My love of painting came early, at 6years old, when I would disappear into my own creative world. I eventually studied on a scholarship in Georgia USA and began exhibiting all over the world. Now I live and work in Victoria falls, Zimbabwe, with my family where my inspiration is limitless as we live in a national park teeming with wildlife. My choice of medium is oil paint and I work mostly on large canvases. Nicole's astonishingly beautiful paintings hang in many lodges and hotels in and around the city.
