Kavinga Safari Camp in Mana Pools was Great

This mail is to give feedback about our trip to Kavinga Safari Camp.

First of all, we thank you for organising a trip in such short notice. It was of great help.

Kavinga has a very unique location on the cliff of the hill and has a waterhole just below rooms which allows viewing even at the middle of the night. Best rooms are 5 and 6.

Rooms are airy, extremely well lit as it is open on three sides being covered with net or glass. Guiding is good, though guides are junior, but very well trained and knowledgeable. Andy is a superb guide under whom younger guides are being trained. In fact, one of them dealt with a charging elephant extremely well and cool headed. Walking trips were of great learning experience. a hide next to the water pan is also an added attraction to see animals at close.

Food is simple and good. Staff are helpful and willing. to assist. I also met few very keen wild life tourist.

Only point may be that the camp could be constructed with more natural material than steel and concrete.

Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the place.
