Help please

Hello. I write mystery novels with a friend under the name Michael Stanley. They are set in Botswana, but also involve its neighbouring countries. In the book we are working on, a character lives in Vic Falls. She is American by birth but now works as a guide to camping safaris mainly in Zim. My question is where in Vic Falls would she live? Are there small inexpensive apartments (flats) that she could rent for a year or so? If so, where would such places be and what price range would they be in. Would much appreciate your help.
