Half Day Horse Back SafariMorning or afternoon rides are conducted along the Zambezi River, in the National Park and surrounding game areas. Great for experienced or inexperienced riders who want to savour this remarkable area in a unique way.
Throughout these areas there is a wide distribution of birds and wildlife. As clients explore this area they will be able not only to see game but also learn from their guide about the wide variety of flora, fauna, history and ecology of the area.
At the beginning of the ride less experienced clients are given instructions on how to handle the horses, and the ride is conducted according to their ability and inclination, with the pace at the discretion of the guide. A licensed guide and a tracker accompany all rides. On the horizon you can see the spray from the Victoria falls Tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits are served in the stable gardens as clients watch the spray of the Falls. Cordials and snacks or biscuits are served under the shady teak trees afterwards. Snacks may include olives, nuts, and cheese biscuits. Please inform us of any special requests. Total length of rides: approximately 2 hours riding time; 2½ hours including transfers, safety talk, weigh-in & drinks. For more experienced riders this is normally extended to 3 to 3½ hours.
