Some Information About Granite Park Slideshow

Granite Park Lodge is a privately owned self-catering accommodation option in Bulawayo. It is owned and run by Clive and Gail Moore. The lodge is located only 10 minutes away from the centre of the city if Bulawayo, in a rural setting amongst granite rocky outcrops.

Although the area has been cleared so that people can easily find it, there is enough natural bush to allow for the wildlife and birdlife to remain, making for a cosy and stunning bush setting for the lodge.

This slideshow gives an idea of the lodge's setting and surroundings, as well as the rooms and facilities that you will find there from the dining area and library, to swimming pool.

In addition, we recommend a trip to Matobo Hills National Park, which is only 30 minutes from Granite Park Lodge,  while you are in Bulawayo - a place of cultural and spiritual significance to the local people. It is one of the few places where you will see both Black and White rhino plus a variety of wildlife, amazing rock formations and cave paintings. It is also where Cecil John Rhodes was laid to rest.

Our Opinion

We love how Granite Park Lodge is in a private rural setting, yet easily accessible, with enough natural bush for birds and animals.
