To book a guided tour of Victoria Falls, please contact us. 22 July 2019 The Victoria Falls Audio Guide which launched in May this year has recently been updated to a total of 7 different languages - English, German, Russian, Spanish, French, Mandarin and Italian. The Audio Guide is an electronic device which visitors can use while on their tour of the Zimbabwe side of the Victoria Falls. It starts with brief instructions and useful tips for visitors, and then moves on to historical background and formation of the Falls, including a short history of Dr David Livingstone and his discovery of the largest waterfalls in the world. A map of the rainforest accompanies the audio guide's 25 chapters so that visitors can sync the information they are hearing with the viewpoints. Everything from introduction to the Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River, seasonal information and the best time to visit, to culture and local history. The Victoria Falls Audio Guide can be obtained at the Victoria Falls entrance for US$10 per person. Last month, the guide became available on the Play Store for Android user who don't want to carry anything extra, and would like to keep the information for longer. Soon, the app will be made available on the iStore. The Victoria Falls Audio Guide works as an alternative to a guided tour of the Falls, especially for those who may not have a translator or foreign language guide during their visit.
