Current Situation in Zimbabwe
Monday 20 November 2017 An emotional rollacoaster of a weekend saw thousands of people taking to the streets peacefully and in total solidarity, united in one mission to remove Robert Mugabe from power. The people have spoken and it is hard to see a way out for the 93 year old president. The situation on the ground today remains calm and peaceful. It is business as usual and we don't feel there is any reason at this stage why anyone should change or cancel their holiday plans to Victoria Falls. The next two days are pivotal, we are constantly monitoring the situation on the ground here in Victoria Falls and will advise immediately if there are any changes. 16 November 2017 12:20pm In light of current media reports concerning the situation in Zimbabwe, we would like to reassure you and your guests that it is business as usual in Victoria Falls and Zimbabwe. There has been no report of violence or civil unrest. All flights are arriving & departing timeously and guests are enjoying their stay in our beautiful resort town. We will continue to closely monitor the situation, and update you if there are any further developments.
