Chobe Safari Lodge is one of the more popular (and affordable) safari lodge on the Chobe Riverfront. It is a well established lodge in Kasane, and located near most the town's facilities, and also near the area where Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe meet.

The lodge has a large central thatched building which includes a cocktail bar and viewing deck area, surrounding a large swimming pool and overlooking the river. The lodge’s restaurant offers a choice of cooked or continental breakfast, daily light lunch a la carte menu or buffet lunch options and buffet dinners with wide variety of choice, from exotic game meats to vegetarian dishes.

An advantage of Chobe Safari Lodge is the various accommodation options that are available, from luxury safari rooms, river rooms, thatched rondavels, and the camp site with power points and nearby toilet facilities.

Our Opinion

Chobe Safari Lodge being a well established option has really good prices, and flexibility. Whether you want to stay in the rondavels or the luxury suites, you have a good base from which to enjoy your time in Chobe. The riverfront location isn't bad either.

The lodge does offer activities so you can pick and choose according to your needs and budget. Alternatively, fully inclusive packages are great for hassle free stays at reduced prices with your meals and activities.
